Jera represents the cycle of harvest, the natural rhythm of time, and the concept of reward through effort and patience. This dynamic movement sequence reflects the cyclical nature of Jera, symbolizing the turning of the seasons and the flow of energy through natural cycles. As you move through this sequence, you connect with the energy of growth, effort, and the rewards that follow patience.

Starting Position

  • Stand in a neutral position, with your feet slightly apart, knees slightly bent, and arms relaxed at your sides.
  • Take a moment to breathe deeply, grounding yourself and visualizing the energy of the earth flowing up through your feet, ready to initiate the cycle of Jera.

Step 1: Form the Shape of Jera

  • Inhale deeply, and as you do, raise your right arm, bending it at the elbow so that your fingers touch your right temple, palm facing downward.
  • At the same time, bend your left arm at the elbow so that your fingers touch your waist, palm facing upward.
  • This creates the Jera shape with your body and arms—the right arm forms the upper diagonal line, and the left arm forms the lower diagonal line. In this position, feel the cycle of energy within you, ready to flow and move through the sequence.

Step 2: Turn to the Right and Circle the Hands

  • As you continue to inhale, begin to turn your body to the right, following the natural flow of the breath.
  • At the same time, bring your right hand down in a circular motion, lowering it from your temple to your waist. Simultaneously, raise your left hand in a circular motion, bringing it from your waist up to your temple. Your hands are moving in opposite directions, creating the cyclical flow of Jera’s energy.
  • As the hands move, visualize the cycle of growth and harvest, where effort transforms into reward, and the seasons turn through the natural rhythm of life.

Step 3: Return to the Center with Exhale

  • As you begin to exhale, gently turn your body back to the front, allowing the movement to flow naturally.
  • When you return to the center, your hands should once again form the shape of the Jera rune, but now they are reversed—the right hand is at the waist and the left hand is at the temple.
  • Feel the completion of one cycle, with the energy of growth and reward now settled within you, ready to begin anew.

Step 4: Repeat on the Other Side

  • Inhale again, this time turning to the left. Lower your left hand in a circular motion to the waist and raise your right hand in a circular motion to the temple, mirroring the previous movement.
  • Exhale as you turn back to center, forming the Jera shape with your hands again, now with the left hand at the waist and the right at the temple. This completes the cycle.
  • Continue alternating sides, flowing from one movement to the next, feeling the energy of the Jera rune as it moves in cycles of effort and reward.

By practicing this sequence, you connect with the cyclical energy of Jera, helping you to align with the natural flow of time and growth in your life. This movement reminds you that effort and patience will eventually lead to fulfillment, just as the seasons turn and harvests come in their time. Let this sequence guide you in embracing the natural cycles of effort, growth, and reward.
